Hey you were close,about 15 yrs ago the steel fab plant I work at threw
all the Old 120 yr old black smith tools away,I dug them out of the scrap dumpster.there was one Anvil about 300lbs ,But i coundt lift it out.

I figured it had to be pretty big, but not knowing how tall you were, it was hard to gauge it's size.

Wow, man. That anvil looks to be at least a 150 pounder. Is it forged or cast?

I used to do a little a little metal work back in the day--mostly making railroad spike knifes and pot hooks. I was a strikeman for a guy who was a better smith than I. Haven't done much forge work since the early '90s, but I can tell you that I never had better upper body strength than back then. Kind of miss it.
